In Khun Ha commune, on behalf of the local Party Committee and government, the commune leaders reported to the Provincial Working Group on the results of the preparation and organization of the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2025. According to the report, this year, the Commune People's Committee has soon established a Steering Committee for organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival, assigning specific tasks to schools, departments, branches, organizations, village chiefs and the Commune Health Station to participate. Preparations were carefully carried out from facilities, stages, performances, decorations, to ensuring security and order, food hygiene and safety and mobilizing socialization.
The entire commune organized the Mid-Autumn Festival in 19 villages and 2 main schools, Khun Ha Primary Boarding School (October 5) and Ban Hon Primary - Secondary School (October 6), attracting more than 3,000 children and teenagers to participate. He emphasized that paying attention to organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival not only brings joy to children, but also demonstrates the responsibility and affection of the whole community for future generations, and is a way to concretize the policy of "children today, the world tomorrow".
Next, at Ban Bo commune, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation listened to a report on the preparations for the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival in the commune. According to the Plan of the People's Committee of Ban Bo commune, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival will be organized with many rich and meaningful contents. The commune has promoted communication and legal education on children's rights, organized "Full Moon Festival Night" activities at 02 main schools: Ban Bo Secondary School and Na Tam Primary and Secondary School, along with entertainment activities in the villages from October 4-6.
At the schools, the program includes a star lantern procession, storytelling of the “Mid-Autumn Festival Legend”, reading of the President’s New Year greetings, performing arts and breaking the cake with 100% of students participating. The work of ensuring security and order, food hygiene and mobilizing socialization was seriously and synchronously implemented. In particular, villages such as Hung Phong, Na Van, Na It actively prepared art performances, made star lanterns and organized lantern processions around the village, creating a bustling and warm atmosphere throughout the area.
Speaking here, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong acknowledged the sense of responsibility and initiative of the Party Committee and the government of Ban Bo commune in organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival for children. He emphasized: "This year is the first year the whole province has implemented the two-level local government model, 38 communes in the province have proactively developed plans to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival for children, including Ban Bo commune, which demonstrates the spirit of innovation, responsibility and practical care for the young generation. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that Ban Bo in particular and other localities will continue to maintain and expand meaningful activities like this, ensuring that all children, especially poor children and children in difficult areas, can celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival happily, safely and warmly. At the same time, he asked Ban Bo commune to pay more attention to educational development, build schools that meet national standards, take care of facilities, improve the quality of teaching and learning, and create conditions for children to develop comprehensively.
At the end of the program at the destinations, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong and members of the delegation presented Mid-Autumn gifts to the students, conveying their trust and wishes: "Wishing you all to always be good, study well, listen to your teachers and parents; strive to become good children, good students, good citizens, contributing to the development of Lai Chau homeland."
The Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere in the two mountainous communes of Khun Ha and Ban Bo this year is more bustling than ever.
