Press conference to inform the results of the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress

Chairing the press conference were comrades: Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thi Phong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Mai Viet Trung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission. At the press conference, comrade Nguyen Thi Phong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission informed about the results of the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Phong Vu said: After nearly 3 days of urgent, serious, democratic and responsible work, the 1st Congress of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, has completed all the contents of the proposed program and achieved great success. This is the result of the serious and responsible preparation process of the entire Party Committee, the entire people and the entire army, of all levels, sectors and localities in the province; it is the result of urgent work with the spirit of innovation, democracy, intelligence, solidarity and high responsibility of the delegates attending the Congress. The great success of the Congress is also the result of the close and close direction of the Politburo , the Central Party Secretariat and the guidance and assistance of the Central Party Committees. The success of the Congress is a source of excitement and great strength, encouraging the entire Party, army and people of all ethnic groups in the province to continue promoting the cause of building and developing the province in the new era.

During the Congress, more than 120 journalists and reporters from more than 46 central and local press agencies participated in the work. From October 1, 2025 to now, there have been more than 820 news, articles and reports in newspapers and radio stations promptly, fully and deeply reflecting on the preparations for the Congress; the results of 5 years of implementing the Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term in all fields, especially in the work of Party building and rectification; general goals, important targets and directions, tasks and main solutions in the period of 2025-2030 and the following years; information on the Congress's developments, the results of the appointment of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee; reflecting the democratic atmosphere of the Congress, the unity within the Provincial Party Committee, the consensus and interest of society in the Congress, the sentiments and interest of all classes of people in the contents of the Congress.

Speaking at the press conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said: The draft documents, especially the Political Report submitted to the Congress, were widely researched, discussed, and consulted; receiving thousands of enthusiastic comments from veteran revolutionaries, former provincial leaders, the Fatherland Front and organizations, scientists, officials, party members, businessmen and people in the province. The general goals and important targets set for the 2025 - 2030 term are all built and calculated on the basis of the economic scale of each locality in the province, so the ability to achieve the targets is very high.

To realize the goals of the 2025 - 2030 term, Gia Lai province is determined to have 5 growth pillars and 4 breakthroughs. These contents have been specified in the Resolution and Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Congress, the problem is the organization and implementation. In addition to focusing on investing in the strengths of each region in the province, Gia Lai also focuses on investing in East - West connection infrastructure to ensure harmonious development between regions, harmonizing socio-economic development with ensuring social security and environmental protection.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the consistent viewpoint of the province is to always accompany the business community, promptly remove difficulties of businesses, especially in investment procedures, create the most favorable conditions to promote investment, production and business activities; at the same time, resolutely revoke projects for businesses that lack capacity and are slow to implement projects.

Regarding the story of “opportunities for young people”, Chairman Pham Anh Tuan said: In recent times, the province has attracted many large projects, including high-tech projects that require high-quality human resources. Along with favorable conditions in terms of geographical location, infrastructure, and living environment, Gia Lai will become a “fertile land” that can “retain” local human resources as well as attract human resources from other places.

Regarding the work of building a team of cadres, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized: Localities must proactively arrange the organizational apparatus, assign tasks according to the motto "right person, right job"; continue training, coaching, standardizing working processes; supplementing resources; resolutely replacing cadres who do not meet task requirements.
