According to the report of the Hanoi Capital Command, by noon on October 11, in Trung Gia commune, two villages, An Lac and Hoa Binh, were still deeply flooded, up to 1.5 meters in some places, and authorities had to use boats to bring in necessities to support the people. Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh inspected the flood situation and directed functional forces to study upgrading and reinforcing the right dike of Cau Bridge. Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh encouraged the flood prevention and control forces in vulnerable areas in Trung Gia commune. Before going on a field inspection, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh listened to reports from units on duty to prevent and control floods. Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh requested authorities at all levels to urgently coordinate with armed forces, police, and militia to clean up the environment, overcome the consequences of floods, and support people to quickly stabilize their lives and restore normal activities. Landslides caused by floods have affected the railway running through the area. Units actively reinforce weak points of the railway line. Flood water is gradually receding in Trung Gia and Da Phuc communes. Authorities support people in harvesting rice in Xuan Lai and Kim Ha fields (Da Phuc commune). Support work for people is carried out urgently by units, regardless of day or night.
