Focus on building a strong Party in ideology

Unity of Action

Along with the merger of An Giang province and Kien Giang province, the Provincial Party Committee of Party Agencies was also established according to Decision No. 06-QD/TU, dated July 1, 2025 of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, on the basis of merging the Party Committees of the two previous provinces.

According to comrade Vo Nguyen Nam - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Party Agencies, this is a milestone and an important step to streamline the organizational apparatus, opening a new period of development, requiring unity in ideology, organization and action throughout the Party Committee.

12 grassroots party organizations directly under the Party Committee The provincial Party agencies are all important advisory, support and public service units of the Provincial Party Committee. The merger process has set many new requirements in organization, leadership and management of activities, in which the work of building the Party in terms of ideology has received special attention.

In recent times, political and ideological education has been focused on by Party committees, and its quality has been increasingly profound. The Party Committees of the Provincial Party Committees and affiliated grassroots party organizations have promptly grasped the ideological situation, oriented public opinion, and handled deviations to create unity in perception and action. At the same time, they have actively fought to protect the Party's ideological foundation, refuted and neutralized false and hostile arguments on cyberspace and in society.

Party committees have intensified propaganda on the policy of restructuring the organizational apparatus, thereby strengthening trust, maintaining internal solidarity, preventing hot spots from arising, and contributing to ensuring the merger and consolidation process takes place safely and effectively.

Typically, the Party Committee of Newspaper, Radio and Television of An Giang province, established on the basis of merging the party bases of 4 press agencies in An Giang and Kien Giang provinces before, has quickly completed the organization, effectively led the implementation of propaganda work on the purpose and significance of the policy of merging, consolidating, and building a 2-level local government; assessed and analyzed the potential and development position of the new An Giang province.

Taking advantage of the consolidation of press types, the Provincial Newspaper and Radio - Television strongly propagated, contributing to the success of party congresses at all levels, especially the 1st An Giang Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; creating new momentum, belief and aspirations in the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people, united in action for a developed An Giang.

Keep the faith

One of the key tasks identified by the 1st Congress of Provincial Party Committees for the 2025-2030 term is to strengthen internal solidarity and promote the political core role of Party organizations and Party members in agencies and organizations.

The Party Committee sets out the requirement to build a Party organization with high solidarity and unity in political ideology, will and action; to maintain principles, discipline and order, and to focus on the common interest. Party cells and Party Committees proactively grasp, forecast, and orient thoughts, promptly and thoroughly resolve internal issues; strictly implement democratic regulations, ensure publicity and transparency, arouse the responsibility to set an example of cadres and Party members, consolidate trust, increase consensus, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, and successfully complete assigned political tasks.

This is also the task that the Party cells, grassroots Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee and the 1st An Giang Provincial Party Congress have developed many effective solutions for implementation in the 2025 - 2030 term. This orientation is consistent with Ho Chi Minh's ideology in Party building in terms of ideology, based on the foundation of Marxism - Leninism, and at the same time creatively applied to Vietnamese practice with the spirit of "national, scientific, popular".

Accordingly, building the Party ideologically means building a politically strong Party, fighting against opportunism and localism, opposing erroneous and hostile arguments, and protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

To build the Party ideologically, each cadre and party member must constantly practice and learn from Uncle Ho's virtues of diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality, and selflessness, using Marxism-Leninism as a sharp weapon to enhance political mettle, maintain the working class stance, and be closely attached to the people.

In the context of deep international integration, applying Ho Chi Minh's thought helps Party committees at all levels in the province and each Party member resolutely fight against "self-evolution" and "self-transformation", contributing to building a clean and strong Party in all aspects, creating solidarity to successfully implement resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, bringing An Giang to develop to its full potential in the new period.
