Carefully prepare activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day

DNO – On the morning of July 19, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan chaired a working session with relevant departments and branches to listen to reports on the progress of preparations for activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested relevant departments and branches to closely follow the contents and tasks according to the issued plan to effectively implement, ensuring that the preparations for activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day are thoughtful, solemn, and on schedule.

Departments and branches, based on specific assigned tasks and tasks, need to closely monitor and inspect related units, avoid forgetting or delaying work, ensure the right person, right job, right progress, time and specific responsibilities.

Regarding the giving of gifts, visiting and encouraging families of meritorious people, relatives need to immediately connect with localities for effective coordination. Relevant agencies and units closely follow the plan to organize funerals, incense offering and memorial services in the city; art programs must ensure strict adherence to specific and strict plans. Regarding funding, relevant departments and branches need to proactively coordinate and handle problems to ensure smooth and timely operations.

The City People's Committee has issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, and relevant departments and branches are coordinating to implement and ensure progress. In particular, the Department of Home Affairs has issued an official dispatch guiding localities to give gifts to people with revolutionary contributions. The Department of Finance has advised the City People's Committee to issue a decision approving the temporary allocation of operating funds for wards and communes in the city after the merger.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has agreed to assign leaders to attend local party congresses, and visit typical policy families in those localities. The Department of Home Affairs advised the City People's Committee to issue a notice on organizing memorial services and incense offering in the city.
