
Mid-Autumn Festival gifts are given to the elderly and children in special circumstances.
This year's Mid-Autumn Festival became more special with 220 children and 40 elderly people at Thuy An Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled (Hanoi) and nearly 100 children in special circumstances at Social Protection Center No. 1 (Hanoi). Not only lanterns and bustling drums, the children and elderly here also received health care, nutrition check-ups and meaningful gifts from the program "Happy and Healthy Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" organized by the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights in coordination with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Health , the Youth Union of the National Children's Hospital, Pharmacity Pharmacy, and MHD Pharma Joint Stock Company. With a total gift value of nearly 120 million VND, the program brought a warm Mid-Autumn Festival, while affirming the spirit of community service of the accompanying units.
Within the framework of the activity, children and the elderly were examined by doctors and pharmacists for general health, provided nutritional advice and checked their physical development status. In particular, the team of experts from the National Children's Hospital directly assessed the nutritional regime and guided scientific care for each age group. Not only stopping at the health care aspect, 350 gifts including lanterns, milk and medical products sponsored by Pharmacity and MHD Pharma were also handed to children and the elderly at the 2 centers. The joy was also multiplied by the performances by the children themselves, these small gifts helped children in difficult circumstances join in the bustling atmosphere of the full moon festival.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Le Tuyet Mai, Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights, emphasized: "Children must be placed at the center of every sustainable development strategy. This is not only a responsibility but also a social commitment. Through specific activities like this, we hope that all children, especially children in difficult circumstances, will have equal access to health care, education and nutrition services, contributing to the realization of children's rights in Vietnam."

On behalf of the Ministry of Health, Ms. Dam Thi Minh Thu, Chief of the Office of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health, represented and shared, affirming the pioneering role of young people in the medical sector in bringing community health activities closer to the people. The direct participation of members of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Health has contributed to ensuring the program takes place safely, effectively and spreading the spirit of initiative, responsibility and humanity of the young generation.
Along with that, MHD Pharma introduces scientific solutions focusing on improving digestion and nutrition for children. The company representative said that MHD Pharma's long-term goal is to improve physical condition, increase nutrient absorption, and contribute to building a healthier generation of young Vietnamese people.

The program at Thuy An Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled is not only a Mid-Autumn Festival gift-giving event but also a clear demonstration of a sustainable cooperation model between social organizations, state agencies and enterprises. This is also an activity to concretize the strategic cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights, Pharmacity and MHD Pharma signed earlier, aiming at the goal of "For a healthier future generation".
The partners affirmed that they will continue to expand the chain of sustainable health care activities for children in many localities, raise public awareness of the importance of scientific nutrition in the early stages of development, and promote the participation of many businesses and social organizations in child protection and care. This is also the first step to replicate programs such as "Doctor Tour - Health Festival" to many provinces and cities, opening up opportunities to access health care and nutrition for thousands of Vietnamese children.
