Bui Family Golf Club won the Family Golf Club Championship season 5 which just ended at Thanh Lanh Golf Course (Phu Tho) when they defeated Duong Family Golf Club in the north in a dramatic play-off series.

The turning point came in round 2, when Bui Golf Club won 5.5 points out of 6 matches, thereby taking the lead with 8.5 points. Notably, golfer Bui Duy Hiep had a spectacular comeback against Pham Van Loi of Pham Gia Club, bringing home a valuable 0.5 point - despite missing the opportunity to take full points on the last shot. That 0.5 point became the springboard for Bui Van Duong to continue to score 1 full point in a convincing victory against Cao Huy Hoang (Cao Golf Club).

The Duong Club in the North, quietly chasing with 7.5 points, took all the points from the Hoang Huynh Golf Club. The match between Hoang Ty and Duong Duc Manh became the center of attention when Hoang Ty suddenly lost his form, allowing his opponent to tie at hole 17. Despite having difficulty with the ball falling into the red trap, Duong Duc Manh still kept his composure to help his team enter the play-off match for the championship with the Bui Club.
