The Cong - Viettel Club makes a grand debut, aiming to win the V-League 2025 - 2026

The Cong - Viettel Club announced its goal of winning the V-League championship at the launch ceremony of the 2025 - 2026 season.

On the morning of August 11, Viettel Sports Company - the management unit of The Cong - Viettel Club - held a ceremony to launch the 2025 - 2026 season.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defense , highly appreciated the preparations for the new season of The Cong - Viettel Club.

The leaders of the Ministry of National Defense put their trust in the players in military uniform: "In each player there is the "gene" of the The Cong tradition. Let's continue with the spirit of the "Red Tornado", continue to attack beautifully, effectively and attractively. You comrades will always be the pride of the soldiers of the entire army and of the Vietnamese people who love the military team."

Colonel Do Manh Dung, Director of Viettel Sports Company, affirmed: "Entering the new season, the whole team will compete with a spirit of courage, discipline, honesty and dedication for the flag and colors of The Cong. For the trust of the people and the army, to complete the goal of conquering the V-League 2025 - 2026 championship."

Also at the departure ceremony, 4 The Cong - Viettel players and U23 Vietnam, who won the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship, received certificates of merit from the Minister of National Defense.

They are the captain of U23 Vietnam - Khuat Van Khang, Nguyen Cong Phuong - the author of the only goal in the final match of U23 Southeast Asia, along with Dang Tuan Phong, Nguyen Thanh Dat.

This is also the recognition of the Ministry of National Defense for the efforts of The Cong - Viettel in promoting the training of young talents, contributing to the development of national football.

In the opening match of V-League 2025 - 2026, The Cong - Viettel will play against Cong An Hanoi at Hang Day Stadium at 7:15 p.m. on August 15.
