Raj Plast 2025 International Exhibition, one of India's largest events for the plastics and allied industries, is taking place from September 19 to 21 in Jaipur, India.

The event, organized by the Plastic Manufacturers Association of Rajasthan (PMAR) in collaboration with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), attracted more than 400 businesses and delegations from more than 10 countries.

Notably, for the first time, Vietnam attended a large-scale international exhibition on plastics in India, with the presence of the Vietnam Trade Office in India, Stavian Group and a number of businesses in the fields of industrial production, technology and international trade.

The organizers said that on the opening day, the exhibition attracted over 10,000 visitors, generating over 227 million USD in order value and cooperation agreements.

In addition to the exhibition booths, Raj Plast 2025 will also host a number of technical seminars, networking events and a special gala night with Bollywood artists, cementing its position as the leading event for the plastics industry in Rajasthan.

Speaking about Vietnam's participation, Mr. Bui Trung Thuong, Commercial Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in India, said that this decision is linked to the common commitment between the two countries on the target of net zero emissions reduction, in which Vietnam set the completion date at 2050.

According to Mr. Bui Trung Thuong, plastic waste is a big challenge, so introducing organic plastic products, bioplastics and environmentally friendly technological solutions at the exhibition has practical significance, contributing to protecting the green environment and promoting sustainable development.

Mr. Bui Trung Thuong also emphasized that with the support of the Trade Office, Vietnamese enterprises have boldly participated in the event, expecting the plastics industry to actively contribute to the country's export growth target of 12% in 2025.

Mr. Jayesh Manish Pandey, Business Manager of Stavian Group in India, said that the group's goal at Raj Plast 2025 is to expand its network of connections, promote its brand and seek cooperation opportunities with plastic consuming businesses in India, especially in major economic centers such as Kolkata and Chennai.

With its large scale, high internationality and substantial commercial value, Raj Plast 2025 not only affirms its role as a bridge for cooperation in the plastics industry between Vietnam and India, but also opens up many opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to expand their markets and participate more deeply in the global supply chain.
