- On the morning of October 21, the Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center coordinated with the Cao Loc Regional Medical Center to organize a communication program on HIV/AIDS, integrating examination and testing for students who are being treated with antiretroviral drugs for HIV/AIDS and those at high risk of contracting the disease at the Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center.

Here, the trainees were informed by the staff of Cao Loc Regional Medical Center about the HIV/AIDS epidemic situation in Vietnam in general and Lang Son province in particular; basic knowledge about HIV/AIDS, transmission routes, and prevention measures was disseminated.

In addition, students are also informed and introduced to support services such as consultation, testing, examination, care, and treatment in the area; and are given leaflets about related contents...
In the program, 7 cases being treated with HIV/AIDS antiviral drugs and 25 students at the Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center who were at high risk of contracting the disease and had never been tested were examined and screened.

The program aims to improve knowledge, change attitudes and behaviors for students in preventing HIV/AIDS infection, creating a friendly environment, without stigma and discrimination against infected people. At the same time, this creates conditions for students to access health check-up services, minimizing the risk of infection for students at the Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center.
