
On the morning of September 29 (August 8, At Ty year), the Traditional Stage Theater coordinated with the Hai Phong Stage Artists Association to celebrate the 16th Vietnam Stage Day - 2025 and the Anniversary of the Founder of the National Stage Profession.
Attending and offering incense were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hai Phong Literature and Arts Association, along with many artists, officials, actors, and businesses operating in the field of theater and performing arts in the city.

The Ancestor's Death Anniversary Ceremony was held in a solemn and sacred atmosphere, expressing deep gratitude to the Ancestor of the national theater profession and gratitude to generations of artists who have contributed to building and developing Vietnamese theater arts.
This is also an opportunity for the city's artists to exchange and share experiences, affirm the spirit of solidarity, creativity, continuation and promotion of tradition in the new era.
Last year (from September 2024 to September 2025), members of the Hai Phong Stage Artists Association achieved many outstanding achievements at major festivals.

At the 2024 National Professional Cai Luong Festival held in Can Tho , the play "Khong Ngai" by Cai Luong Troupe - Hai Phong Traditional Theater won a silver medal; Meritorious Artist Kim Oanh and artist Thuy Nga won a gold medal; artist Hoang Hung won a silver medal.
At the 5th National Professional Theater Festival on “The Image of the Vietnamese People's Public Security Soldier” (Hanoi, July 2025), the play “The Oath on the Flagpole Mountain” won a bronze medal; Meritorious Artist Kim Oanh, Artist Thuy Nga, Artist Hoang Hung all won a gold medal; Meritorious Artist Minh Tuan won a silver medal.

In the Cheo field, the play “Ho Xuan Huong” by the Hai Phong Cheo Troupe participated in the 2024 Capital Stage Festival and won a silver medal. Meritorious Artists Thuy Dung, Thuy Duong, and Van Mon won gold medals; Meritorious Artist Thanh Binh, Artist Hoang Yen, and Artist Duy Thanh won silver medals.
Hai Phong Drama Troupe (now under Hai Phong Contemporary Theater) achieved outstanding results at the National Professional Drama Festival, with the play “Catching Ghosts” winning a gold medal. Meritorious Artists Thanh Nhan, Bich Ngoc, and Dang Khoa received gold medals; artist Quang Thien won a silver medal.

In addition, at the China-ASEAN Theatre Festival Week held in Nanning (Guangxi, China), Meritorious Artist Kim Oanh and artist Duong Dung were awarded the Outstanding Actors Award by the Organizing Committee.
The event to celebrate the 16th Vietnam Theatre Day - 2025 and the Anniversary of the Founder of the National Theatre Profession contributes to arousing professional pride, encouraging artists, actors, and staff working in the theatre industry to continue to make efforts to contribute, create, and spread the values of traditional theatre in modern life.
