Hanoi police report their achievements to Uncle Ho at Ba Dinh Square

On January 11, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit and New Year greetings at the City Police Headquarters (February 13, 1964 - February 13, 2024); Hanoi City Police organized a delegation to report their achievements to Uncle Ho.

Nearly 300 officers and soldiers of the Capital Police at the ceremony to report their achievements to Uncle Ho.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh , on behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Hanoi City Police, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung, Director of the City Police reported his achievements to Uncle Ho and launched the writing contest "Proud of the Heroic Capital Police - The unit visited by Uncle Ho 5 times" in the entire Capital Police force.

60 years ago, on February 13, 1964, the first day of the Lunar New Year, officers and soldiers of the Capital Police were honored to receive a visit from Uncle Ho, who wished them a happy new year and encouraged them.

This was also the last time Uncle Ho visited the Hanoi Police before he passed away. Over the past sixty years, generations of cadres, soldiers, and employees of the City Police have always kept in mind his teachings for the People's Police and the Capital Police, considering them as moral standards to strive for, cultivate, and train; as a motto for conduct and action; as a spiritual motivation, a source of strength to urge them to overcome difficulties and challenges, to achieve many glorious feats, and to build the glorious tradition of the heroic Capital Police.

The City Police has been honored to be visited by Uncle Ho 5 times, to be presented with flower baskets by Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton 15 times, to be awarded the rotating flag by Uncle Ho for 3 consecutive years, to be awarded a letter of commendation by Uncle Ho 3 times; the State has awarded 1 Gold Star Order, 2 Ho Chi Minh Orders, 3 Feat Orders, 4 Military Exploit Orders, 3 times to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, 25 years to be awarded the flag "Leading unit in the emulation movement for the security of the Fatherland" by the Government ; 66 individuals have been awarded the Uncle Ho Badge and many other noble awards...

Towards the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit and New Year greetings at the City Police Headquarters; in 2023, under the leadership and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, the City Party Committee, the People's Council, the City People's Committee, the close coordination and collaboration of the Professional Departments of the Ministry of Public Security, the Capital Command, departments, agencies, unions, Party committees, authorities at all levels, the support and assistance of all classes of people... the Capital Police force has constantly innovated its thinking and working methods, overcome difficulties and challenges, strived to excellently complete all assigned tasks with many bold marks in all areas of work.

The achievements and results have contributed to maintaining political security, order and social safety in the area, effectively serving the socio-economic development and foreign affairs of the City, making important contributions to the overall achievements of the entire Public Security force .
