Benefit from a single point of access
Previously, citizens and businesses had to "run" through many doors: the gate of this ministry, the gate of that province, the one-stop office in each agency... Time-consuming, cumbersome, and confusing. The National Public Service Portal (NDSP) was born to solve exactly that bottleneck: A single address to look up, submit documents, track progress and receive results, helping people no longer have to struggle to find the right "door" for their procedures. The portal is operated by the Government Office , integrating thousands of online public services and becoming the "one-stop shop" of the country in performing administrative procedures.
The benefits for individuals and businesses are immediate, specifically: Save travel time, reduce administrative costs, less paperwork, less intermediary procedures. Instead of spending all day queuing, just a few clicks to submit documents, view status and receive results, transparent and traceable even the history of the documents.
Along with the National Public Service Portal, VNeID appears as the electronic identification key of each citizen. The application, developed by the National Population Data Center ( Ministry of Public Security ), allows electronic identification and authentication, replacing many types of traditional documents (ID, driver's license, insurance card, etc.) when transacting with state agencies, businesses or public services. Using VNeID to log in, sign digitally or provide personal information makes the digitalization process safe and convenient.
When identity is authenticated on a digital platform, electronic records have legal value, reduce the risk of forgery, and save time compared to having to carry paper records to many places. VNeID also paves the way for a "super application" that coordinates many public utilities, health, education , and transportation, making the citizen experience more seamless.
Specific benefits: People see it immediately, businesses benefit sustainably
Save time and money: Submitting documents online on the National Public Service Portal, using VNeID for authentication, means no need to print, stamp or go back and forth multiple times. Enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises, reduce administrative costs, shorten the time to complete procedures, thereby focusing resources on production and business.
Transparency and progress tracking: Each application on the Portal is assigned a code, making the processing progress public; applicants can look up and report when needed. This increases the accountability of the processing agency, reducing the chance of unreasonable delays.
Safe and reliable: VNeID provides a secure authentication mechanism; digital signatures and electronic authentication ensure the integrity and authenticity of records. When population data and record data are interconnected, comparison and verification take place quickly and accurately.
Access to public services anytime, anywhere: No longer bound by administrative boundaries, many services have allowed submission and processing of "non-boundary" documents, which people can do from home or work. This is essential in the digital age, especially for people in remote areas when infrastructure is well connected.
Supporting businesses in the investment environment: Fast and transparent procedures increase the competitiveness of the business environment, reduce legal risks and time costs for businesses when carrying out investment, tax, registration and licensing procedures.
When the National Public Service Portal becomes the "one-stop shop" of the country and VNeID is the digital identity card in the hands of each person, we are not only talking about technology but also about the reduction of burden, the increase of trust, and the return of time to life. That is the biggest benefit: the government is closer, businesses operate more flexibly, people are served faster, all starting from a single touch on the portal or application.
