Flood and water level warning poles with signals and flares

On the morning of August 19, the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education had a working session at Tuyet Thanh mechanical workshop (Bac Ninh province) to evaluate and give comments on the project "Flood and rising water warning pole with signals and flares".

At the survey, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, author of the project "Flood and water level warning column with signals and flares" said that to warn of high dangers such as flash floods, flash floods, and dike breaks, when the water level reaches a certain location, a flare signal will be fired high up with sound and light to help people at the location and around the flooded location for dozens of kilometers to know immediately to avoid it.

Mr. Le Manh Hung, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, assessed that this project is very valuable in the spillway area, an area where flash floods and flash floods often occur. We acknowledge the farmers who have practical initiatives.

With the general theme "Honoring talent - Inspiring creativity", within the framework of the "Vietnam's Talent 2025" award, the award in the field of "Encouraging learning - Self-learning to become talented" has 5 projects proposed for consideration for awards, including: Flood warning pole, rising water with flare signal; 360-degree rotating hydraulic sugarcane gripper; soil trench digging equipment; NH-10/70 honey purifier; application of tea yeast-killing tube in the production process. Up to now, the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education has surveyed 2 projects out of a total of 5 projects selected for awards.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Manh, Deputy Head of the Movement Board of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, said that the award "Promoting Education - Self-study to achieve success" aims to encourage and motivate farmers who do not have the conditions to receive formal training but have innovative works to serve the community.

The deadline for receiving entries is August 31, 2025.

The award ceremony will be held in Hanoi in October 2025 and broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
