The emulation cluster of the Journalists Association of 6 North Central provinces discussed 11 key tasks for 2024

The North Central Journalists Association emulation cluster includes: Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association (Cluster Leader), Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association, Ha Tinh Provincial Journalists Association, Quang Binh Provincial Journalists Association, Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association and Thua Thien Hue Provincial Journalists Association.

Delegates attended the conference to summarize the emulation and reward movement in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

In 2023, the Provincial Journalists Association in the Emulation Cluster will continuously innovate and diversify professional activities; organize well competitions and press awards; diversify special issues and professional publications. Coordinate well with departments, agencies, functional branches, and press agencies in the province to continue to innovate and diversify the Association's activities, paying special attention to improving professional ethics for members and journalists, monitoring and strictly handling the use of social networks by members and journalists.

Training and professional development are always of interest to units in the Emulation Cluster in order to improve political capacity and professional qualifications for journalists, members and journalists in the area.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Vietnam Journalists Association ; representatives of the departments and agencies of Thanh Hoa province and the Journalists Associations of 6 provinces in the North Central region.

The full and responsible participation in the press awards launched by the Central Committee has contributed to affirming the role and position of the Journalists Association and press agencies in the North Central region. In 2024, the Emulation Cluster of the Journalists Association of 6 North Central provinces set out 11 key tasks and solutions to organize implementation, which are: Continuing to do a good job of propagating and implementing the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels, the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association for the 2020-2025 term, the policies, directives, conclusions of the Central Committee, and the State's legal policies.

The emulation cluster has signed a competition agreement for 2024.

Strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Press Law; Association Charter; 10 Articles regulating the professional ethics of Vietnamese journalists. Promote the emulation movement "Building a cultural environment in press agencies" according to plan No. 154-KH/BTGTW dated June 10, 2022 of the Central Propaganda Department.

Focus on political and ideological education for members in the area; open professional training courses for members to meet requirements and tasks; do a good job of advising localities in press orientation and criticism...
