The Central Highlands Journalists Association Emulation Cluster signed the Emulation Covenant for 2024

Accordingly, the Central Highlands Journalists Association includes the provinces of Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Kon Tum , and Gia Lai with a total of 971 members, an increase of 52 members compared to 2022.

In 2023, the Journalists Association of the Central Highlands provinces closely followed the orientation and coordinated to organize effective activities according to the set programs and plans. The associations launched and effectively implemented emulation movements associated with major local political events.

The Central Highlands Journalists Association has organized many exciting activities such as organizing the local Spring Newspaper Festival with nearly 2,000 press publications; participating in the National Press Festival; regularly publishing and exchanging magazines, journals, and special editions in the region and provinces. Units have increased support for high-quality press works; mobilizing members to participate in press awards, press competitions by topic of the Central, local and the National Press Awards.

The provincial associations coordinated to organize 13 training courses on journalism for nearly 500 members, editors, and reporters. Humanitarian and charitable activities were effectively implemented. The provincial associations coordinated to mobilize gifts for people in need with a total value of 372 million VND, build charity houses for poor households, etc.

At the conference, delegates focused on exchanging and discussing to improve the quality of emulation movements and association activities; building a cultural environment for journalists and press agencies.

The provincial Associations promote education work, improve political capacity and ethical qualities of journalists; innovate working methods, and constantly improve the role and quality of the Association's activities in the new period...

Units in the Cluster unanimously reviewed and proposed the Vietnam Journalists Association to award the Emulation Flag to the Dak Nong Provincial Journalists Association; Certificates of Merit from the President of the Vietnam Journalists Association in 2023 to the Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association and Kon Tum Provincial Journalists Association.
