According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Director of Omega Tourism Trading and Service Company Limited, nowadays tourists like experiential activities, so tourism products and activities need to create a new feeling but still have the participation of tourists.
Tourists not only go sightseeing but also want to experience like locals, interested in cuisine , indigenous culture, traditional craft villages, and pristine nature. Therefore, tours are increasingly focusing on the trend of personalization according to interests, age, and small groups.
Based on actual needs, in addition to the previously implemented stimulus activities and enhanced experiences for visitors, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to add more cultural products to serve tourists such as: Da Nang Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 taking place from October 3 to 7 in Hoi An ancient town and neighboring areas; celebrating the 26th anniversary of Hoi An ancient town being recognized as a World Cultural Heritage (December 4, 1999 - December 4, 2025) and the 8th anniversary of the Central region's Bài Chòi art being recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (December 7, 2017 - December 7, 2025) in the ancient town and neighboring areas; the 21st Hoi An - Japan cultural exchange in 2025 (December 26 to 28) at An Hoi Sculpture Garden, Hoi An ancient town; Christmas Festival - New Year's Eve Danang 2026.

Recently, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches officially reopened 3 sightseeing and picnic routes Tien Sa - Suoi Om - Ban Co Peak; Ban Co Peak - Bai Bac and Bai Bac - Cay Da heritage in Son Tra Peninsula after a 3-year suspension.
Deputy Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches Phan Minh Hai said that the reopening of sightseeing and picnic routes in Son Tra Peninsula is the basis for forming new tourism products here. Tourists can visit and experience the routes according to the prescribed time frames, complying with the current conditions of the functional units to ensure safety throughout the journey.
To supplement the source of customers, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tham, Director of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, said that the center has signed a memorandum of understanding and established a cooperation mechanism with international OTA (online travel agency) platforms to attract customers.
The cooperation is associated with long-term communication plans, product distribution, coordination in building stimulus packages, preferential travel combos; improving the experience and service quality for tourists through digital experience products.
The unit also builds joint communication campaigns (co-branding) to promote Da Nang according to each tourist season; cooperates with technology and media businesses to deploy digital promotion campaigns through Google Ads, Facebook Ads... and other social media platforms.

Continuously improve service quality
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang has just organized the 2025 Da Nang Tourism Room Service Competition to select the best finalists. The winners will be selected for training to prepare for the National Room Service Competition and the ASEAN Room Service Competition scheduled for 2026.
Mr. Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that after the merger, along with the development in scale, Da Nang tourism is facing increasing demands for improving service quality, changing trends in digital tourism, green tourism, smart tourism and increasingly fierce competition between domestic and international destinations.
Faced with these difficulties and challenges, the city’s tourism industry needs to make more drastic changes while still ensuring sustainable development. One of the core values is to constantly improve the quality of services and customer service at accommodation establishments. This is a decisive factor for the reputation, brand and sustainable development of the city’s tourism in general.
Therefore, Mr. Tan Van Vuong shared that, from the perspective of state management, the department continues to strengthen inter-sectoral coordination in propaganda and guidance to ensure a transparent, fair and effective tourism business environment; continue to accompany the business community to remove difficulties, create favorable conditions for business development, support training and education of human resources, implement promotion activities, towards the common goal of building a sustainable, high-quality tourism industry in Da Nang, reaching regional and international standards.
164 4-5 star and equivalent accommodation facilities
Currently, Da Nang has 2,365 tourist accommodation establishments with about 62,000 rooms.
Of which, 164 are 4-5 star accommodation establishments and equivalent to 31,058 rooms (accounting for 50.2% of the number of rooms, leading the 4-5 star accommodation establishments nationwide).
132 3-star hotels and equivalent to 8,556 rooms (accounting for 13.8% of the number of rooms).
1,965 2-star or lower establishments, tourist motels, homestays, tourist campsites with 26,325 rooms (accounting for 40% of the number of rooms).
In addition, the city has nearly 700 travel agencies, including nearly 500 international travel companies and branches.
