Accordingly, the army, militia and civil defense forces were mobilized to each vulnerable area, knocking on every door to persuade people to leave the dangerous area. In Me Suot area (Hoa Khanh ward), many households were helped to raise their property, move important items to the upper floors, and move the elderly and children to local shelters.

A representative of the People's Committee of Hoa Khanh Ward said that Au Co and Me Suot streets are often heavily flooded during heavy rains. The locality has arranged forces to be on duty 24/7, prioritizing the safety of people's lives.

Previously, Phu Loc and Son Tra Border Guard Stations mobilized more than 100 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities to notify and call on more than 1,200 fishing boats with 7,000 workers to take shelter in safe places. The units have prepared rescue plans, ensured security and safety at sea and along the coast, and are ready to evacuate people when requested.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Minh Nguyen requested the entire city police force to inspect and clean up trash and obstacles in the drainage system, especially in urban areas, to ensure rapid drainage and limit deep flooding; coordinate with the Border Guard to guide ships to anchor safely in the areas of Tho Quang Fishing Port and Wharf, Man Quang, Tam Quang and Hong Trieu bays, to prevent fires and explosions and incidents at sea.

Units are ordered to inspect, review, and ensure rescue vehicles, equipment, and supplies operate at the highest level, proactively mobilizing on-site resources such as excavators, cranes, diggers, etc. to promptly handle natural disasters and incidents.
