HNP - On October 21, the 1st Congress of Bo De Ward Trade Union, term 2025-2030 was held with the participation of 155 outstanding delegates representing 6,556 union members in the ward.

In his opening speech, comrade Tran Van Son, Chairman of the Ward Trade Union, emphasized: The 1st Congress of the Bo De Ward Trade Union has the task of summarizing the results of activities in the past time; setting out goals, directions, and tasks for the new term; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 18th Congress of the Hanoi City Trade Union; electing the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee, and positions of the Ward Trade Union for the 1st term.

The political report of the Bo De Ward Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term clearly stated: Immediately after its establishment (September 2025), the Provisional Executive Committee of the Ward Trade Union urgently completed the organization, issued operating regulations, established online communication channels between grassroots trade unions, and deployed guidelines for giving comments to the City Trade Union Congress.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress determined the general goal: "Innovate the content and methods of trade union activities; perform well the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; build a strong team of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union organizations, contributing to building Bo De ward to develop sustainably, civilizedly and modernly."

The political report also stated 9 specific targets, of which the following are noteworthy: Over 90% of workers are informed and disseminated about legal policies; At least 85% of enterprises with trade unions sign collective labor agreements; 100% of trade union officials receive professional training; Each grassroots trade union introduces at least one outstanding union member to the Party for consideration of admission each year; Each ward trade union carries out at least 1 "typical project or work" each year.

The Congress agreed on three breakthroughs during the term: Building a team of union officials with intelligence, courage, enthusiasm, and pioneering digital transformation; Promoting dialogue and collective bargaining, focusing on jobs, wages, and labor safety; Strengthening the gathering and mobilization of workers to join the Union organization, consolidating a strong and comprehensive organization.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, praised the efforts of the Provisional Executive Committee of the Bo De Ward Trade Union, and emphasized four key contents in the new term: First, proactively innovate the content and methods of operation, pioneer the application of digital transformation in direction and operation to connect and gather the strength of union members.

Second, improve the quality of representation work, care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers - considering this the central and core task of the Trade Union organization.

Third, innovate patriotic emulation movements, especially the "Good workers, creative workers" movement, associated with the development goals of the ward and the orientation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor .

Fourth, continue to pay attention to union member welfare work, effectively maintain programs bearing the Union's mark such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Union Shelter", "Love Bus Trip"... to spread the spirit of sharing and humanity in the working community.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy believes that, with the spirit of solidarity, creativity and high determination, Bo De Ward Trade Union will soon affirm its pioneering role in the Long Bien District Workers' Movement, contributing to the overall development of the Capital.

On behalf of the Ward Party Committee, Comrade Vu Thi Thanh, Party Committee Secretary and Chairwoman of the Ward People's Council, highly appreciated the proactive and creative spirit of the Ward Trade Union Provisional Executive Committee in preparing for the Congress. She affirmed that the establishment of the Ward Trade Union was the result of the process of mobilizing and perfecting the political system, demonstrating its core role in representing and protecting the rights of workers.

Comrade Vu Thi Thanh suggested that the Executive Committee of the Ward Trade Union, Term I, should focus on five key tasks: Creating a breakthrough in building a team of union officials with courage, intelligence, and pioneering in digital transformation; Promoting the representative role, protecting the legitimate rights of workers, aiming for the goal of 85% of enterprises signing collective labor agreements; Innovating the content and methods of operation, taking workers as the center, overcoming the administrative situation in trade union work; Promoting the vanguard role of the Trade Union in patriotic emulation movements, associated with the political, economic and social tasks of the ward; Strengthening training, fostering, and building a team of "dedicated - responsible - creative" trade union officials, contributing to building a strong Party and grassroots political system.

Comrade Vu Thi Thanh also affirmed: "The Standing Committee of the Bo De Ward Party Committee will always pay attention and create the most favorable conditions for the Ward Trade Union to operate effectively, truly being a reliable support for workers."

At the Congress, on behalf of the Presidium, comrade Tran Van Son announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the Bo De Ward Trade Union for the first term, 2025-2030 term and announced the Decision to appoint official delegates to attend the 18th City Trade Union Congress, 2025-2030 term. In which, the Executive Committee of the Bo De Ward Trade Union for the first term consists of 9 comrades. Comrade Tran Van Son was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the 1st Congress of Bo De Ward Trade Union was a great success, opening a new development stage for the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in the area, contributing significantly to the cause of building Bo De Ward "sustainably developed, civilized and modern".
