The 1st Congress of Yen So Ward Trade Union, term 2025-2030

HNP - On October 22, the 1st Congress of Yen So Ward Trade Union, term 2025-2030, took place with the participation of 139 delegates.

Yen So ward leaders presented flowers to congratulate the ward union.

Currently, Yen So Ward Union is managing 25 grassroots unions with nearly 2,500 union members. In the context of increasingly diverse workers in terms of occupations, qualifications and working conditions, the Ward Union determines that it must proactively innovate the content and methods of operation, adapt flexibly and lead the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers to develop sustainably.

The Congress agreed on many specific and practical targets for the 2025-2030 term; striving to annually complete and exceed the targets of establishing grassroots trade unions and developing union members; over 90% of grassroots trade unions meeting good classification standards; 100% of grassroots trade union officials receiving training and fostering skills and expertise; 85% of enterprises with trade unions negotiating, signing and supervising collective labor agreements...

Notably, the Congress identified digital transformation as an important breakthrough, in which union officials must be proficient in applying technology and artificial intelligence software to improve work efficiency and build the image of professional and modern union officials.

In addition, the Congress also proposed 6 key tasks and solutions to innovate trade union activities, improve the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, and affirm the position of the Trade Union as a reliable support and companion of workers.

Speaking at the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Yen So Ward Party Committee Giang Chi Trung acknowledged and commended the proactive, creative and responsible spirit of the Ward Trade Union in preparing and organizing the Congress.

He suggested that, in addition to innovating the content and methods of operation to suit the two-level government model, trade union organizations need to pay attention to developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, and building a team of union officials who are brave, knowledgeable about the law, skilled, and dedicated to workers.

Immediately after the Congress, the Ward Union needs to quickly concretize the Resolution into an action program, associated with the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress and the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Yen So Ward, so that the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers will increasingly develop, contributing to building a sustainable, modern and livable ward.

The Congress announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions of officials of Yen So Ward Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030; Comrade Nguyen Dinh Long was appointed to hold the position of Chairman.
