The first Government Party Congress, term 2025-2030, was held on October 12 and 13, 2025 at the National Convention Center, No. 57 Pham Hung Street, Tu Liem Ward, Hanoi Capital.

The Congress has the theme: "Building a clean and strong Government Party; solidarity, exemplary leadership in science , technology, innovation, digital transformation; accelerating breakthroughs, developing the country quickly and sustainably in the era of rising up, prosperity, civilization, prosperity, and happiness."

The Congress was attended by 453 delegates, representing more than 209,000 party members from 2,211 grassroots party organizations in the entire Government Party Committee.
