Congress of Delegates of the Central Public Security Party Committee: Opening a new chapter in the development of the People's Public Security force

On the morning of October 4, at the Ministry of Public Security, the 8th Congress of the Central Public Security Party Committee, term 2025-2030, solemnly opened. General Secretary To Lam attended and directed the Congress.

Also attending were Party Central Committee members, alternate Party Central Committee members, former Party Central Committee members; leaders and former leaders of central and local ministries, departments and branches; leaders and former leaders of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security; 350 outstanding delegates representing the intelligence, political mettle, will, belief and aspirations of party members in the entire Central Public Security Party Committee.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security, emphasized: "The 8th Central Public Security Party Congress is a particularly important political event, affirming the growth and maturity of the People's Public Security force after 80 years of building, fighting and growing under the leadership of the Party."

According to the Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, this Congress is a milestone opening a new chapter in the development of the Party Committee and the entire People's Public Security force, all for the goal of successfully implementing the Party's strategies, for "peace, stability, sustainable development, high quality and improving all aspects of people's lives".

General Luong Tam Quang affirmed that the important decisions of the Congress will be the basis for continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Party organizations in the People's Public Security; building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security force; consolidating and enhancing the potential and strength to protect security and order, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new revolutionary period. The results of the Congress will contribute significantly to the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party.
