The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2025 - 2030

On September 10, 2025, the Youth Union of the Department of Health organized the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Department of Health of Ca Mau province, term 2025 - 2030. Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Nguyen Tan Luc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, representatives of leaders, representatives of Party Committees of Centers and Hospitals, and more than 60 Youth Union officials and outstanding Youth Union members of 8 Youth Unions under the Department of Health.

During the past term, under the direct leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the Department of Health and the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of the Civil Party Bloc (now the Youth Union of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province), the youth of the Youth Union of the Department of Health always promoted dynamism and creativity, upheld the spirit of responsibility, successfully carried out assigned tasks and achieved comprehensive results in many fields.

Accordingly, 100% of Youth Union members have a steadfast and firm ideological stance, fully grasp the Resolutions of the Party, the Union, policies and laws of the State; build and effectively implement the study and follow the moral example and style of Ho Chi Minh . The work of training, fostering, professional training, and equipping skills for Union cadres has always been given attention. During the term, 12 projects and tasks were implemented; 8 of which were youth projects and tasks worth 10 million VND or more; 100% of Youth Union branches were classified as strong, contributing to helping the grassroots Union maintain the title of strong collective for many consecutive years.

  In addition, activities to promote the initiative and creativity of young people in performing professional tasks took place enthusiastically; Youth Union members actively acted for the community, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; trips to the source, social work and volunteering accompanied the people of localities to overcome difficulties, develop stably, contribute to the socio-economic development process, and at the same time carry out the political tasks of the agency and the province. In particular, the participation of Youth Union members in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic in the community and isolated and locked-down areas also contributed to controlling the epidemic quickly and promptly. Through movement activities, Youth Union members in the Youth Union branch had the opportunity to practice, affirm their capacity and bravery, thereby nurturing many exemplary models, worthy of being introduced to the Party. Specifically, in the previous term, 27 outstanding Youth Union members were admitted to the Party, demonstrating the effectiveness of the work of building the local political system.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Tan Luc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Health acknowledged and commended the results that the Youth Union of the Department of Health has achieved in the past time. To continue to effectively carry out the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement at the grassroots level, the Youth Union of the Department of Health needs to closely follow the attention and direction of the unit's leaders, the guidance of the higher-level Youth Union, and link the implementation of the Congress Resolution with professional activities. Promote the implementation of criteria and standards in behavior, lifestyle, and conduct of young people in the new era. Above all, the Youth Union of the Department needs to be an effective health information channel, meeting the needs of health care and physical training for Union members and young people.

The Congress approved the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the Department of Health, term I, 2025-2030, consisting of 9 comrades. Of which, comrade Dinh Hoang Nho was elected to the position of Secretary; comrade Mai Pham Hai Dang holds the position of Deputy Secretary. Here, the Congress also approved the List of Delegates to attend the 1st Congress of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union, term 2025-2030, including 07 official delegates and 02 alternate delegates.

Implementing the Resolution of the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Department of Health, term 2025 - 2030, the Executive Committee of the Grassroots Youth Union for the new term is responsible for absorbing all opinions of the Party Committee of the Department, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee to develop specific plans and programs and deploy them to the Youth Union members to successfully carry out the tasks stated in the Congress documents.

With the slogan of action "Youth Union of Ca Mau Department of Health: Aspiration - Pioneer - Solidarity - Courage - Creativity, Joining hands for community health", the Congress called on all Union members to unite, promote talent, intelligence, volunteer spirit, compete to successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress for the term 2025 - 2030.
