Faced with the complicated developments that storm No. 11 may cause, the People's Committee of Luc Yen commune has issued a document directing members of the Commune Civil Defense Command, village heads, and local people to organize and deploy response work to storm No. 11 in the spirit of urgency, determination, and timeliness, not to be passive or surprised by dangerous natural disasters: floods, landslides, flash floods; directing people to proactively harvest seasonal rice following the motto "green house is better than old field" to limit damage that may be caused by storm circulation; propagandizing, reminding, mobilizing and signing commitments with 201 households in areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, flash floods, and inundation to proactively evacuate people and property to safe places when there is heavy rain.
Through field inspection, comrade Le Trong Khang - Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lao Cai province emphasized: Storm No. 11 is forecasted to cause damage and greatly affect the economy and property of the people; requested Luc Yen commune to quickly evacuate households living in areas at high risk of landslides to safe shelters; maintain 24/7 on-duty work; arrange and assign guards at overflow points and locations at risk of flooding; review flood and storm prevention equipment; do a good job of logistics according to the "four on-site" motto to be ready to respond when natural disasters occur, in order to minimize the damage caused by storm No. 11.
