The 17th Hue City Party Congress

Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang noted that the Hue City Party Committee should focus on leading and implementing Party building work and the political system with new thinking, new vision, and new knowledge.

On the morning of October 3, the Hue City Party Committee held the opening ceremony of the 17th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the theme: "Strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the strength of the entire people; promoting innovation, mobilizing all resources, creating breakthroughs in socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security; building Hue city to develop in the direction of green - smart - rich in identity."

Speaking at the Congress, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, commended the great results and achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Hue city have achieved in the past term.

At the same time, it is noted that the Hue City Party Committee focuses on leading the implementation of Party building and political system building work with new thinking, new vision, new knowledge; continuing to effectively implement the Central Committee's resolutions and conclusions on Party building and rectification associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

The Political Report presented to the Congress affirmed that the economy maintained good growth, averaging 7.54% per year; GRDP per capita is expected to reach 3,200 USD in 2025.

Hue continues to affirm its position and brand, becoming a major center of the country in culture, tourism, specialized healthcare, education and training, and science and technology./.
