Strive for 100% of elderly people with cataracts to be treated

The humanitarian program "Bright eyes for the elderly" for the 2025-2028 period was launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly in coordination with the Ministry of Health on September 27, 2025.

The program aims to raise awareness, screen and promptly treat eye diseases for the elderly, striving for over 90% of the Association's staff to be trained, over 90% of the elderly to be examined and given medicine, and 100% of cataract cases to be treated./.
