That is both a political mission and an ethical responsibility, as well as a practical way to learn and follow Uncle Ho through concrete actions from the pages of books every day.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Truth Pham Thi Thinh said that, concretized by the action program, the Party Committee of the Publishing House regularly urges and makes the content of learning and following Uncle Ho a routine in all activities, focusing on applying it to professional work.

The Party Committee has developed and implemented the "Ethical standards for cadres and party members of the National Political Publishing House of Truth", which emphasizes the criteria of accuracy, caution, responsibility, and dedication to work. Implementing Resolution No. 66-NQ/DUNXBCTQGST dated December 19, 2023 on strengthening the building and implementation of the office culture of the National Political Publishing House of Truth until 2025, with a vision to 2030, each affiliated Party cell has concretized them into regulations and procedures suitable to the specific tasks of the unit, from editing, publishing, printing, distribution to communication, scientific research, suitable for each stage.

At the grassroots Party cells, the Party Committee has demonstrated creativity in many practical ways. The Textbook and Reference Department, the Publishing House Branch in Can Tho... have applied many good initiatives and effective methods such as the model "Three constructions, three resistances, three knowledges"; the model of editors building work diaries associated with the criteria "5 rights"; the unit organized thematic activities on handling errors, even small ones, to draw experience from the entire editing process. Thanks to that, the team of editors, technicians, and workers in the agency have promoted the spirit of innovation and creativity in the process of editing, publishing, and distributing books. In 2024, the Publishing House had two comrades achieving the title of National Emulation Fighter, which is a testament to the effectiveness of studying and following the working style of President Ho Chi Minh.

The team of cadres and party members with strong ideals and expertise is the foundation for the Publishing House to organize the editing and publishing of hundreds of books about President Ho Chi Minh. This is both a political task and a concrete action of studying and following Uncle Ho.

The Publishing House has proactively built electronic bookcases; awarded nearly 7,700 reading accounts to 55 agencies and units across the country. In 2022, the Publishing House coordinated with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to organize the Book Introduction Contest "Uncle Ho - Faith and Love Through Every Page of a Book" to create a playground for union members, youth and book lovers across the country to have the opportunity to share, introduce and promote excellent works about President Ho Chi Minh; contributing to promoting reading culture, building the habit of introducing and spreading good books.

In the context of the country entering a new stage of development, the business activities of the National Political Publishing House Truth have many opportunities and advantages, but also face many challenges. Therefore, the Party Committee of the Publishing House is determined to promote learning and following Uncle Ho, in conjunction with systematizing, quantifying and institutionalizing ethical standards into mechanisms for evaluating, rewarding, training, recruiting and planning cadres throughout the system.

The Party Building Book Department Party Cell has proactively planned the direction in the work of exploiting and organizing manuscripts, creating a stable source of work, contributing to bringing in significant revenue for the Publishing House. Many important publications were published at the same time to meet both tasks, ensuring political tasks and increasing revenue. Secretary of the Party Building Book Department Party Cell Phan Thi Ngoc Bich said that the mechanism of timely encouragement and motivation for individuals with strengths and expertise in exploiting and organizing manuscripts of the Party Cell has contributed significantly to uniting the team of cadres and party members in the unit, supporting each other to successfully complete assigned tasks.

The Truth National Political Publishing House Branch in Ho Chi Minh City is the representative agency of the Publishing House in the city named after Uncle Ho and the provinces of the Southeast region. Applying Uncle Ho's teachings, the Party cell focuses on implementing new distribution methods, linking distribution with communication; focusing on introducing products and publishing books on social networking platforms and e-commerce platforms. The Party cell coordinates with the unit's leaders to build a reward mechanism based on profits from online book livestreams. Thanks to that, in the period of 2020-2024, the branch's revenue increased from 15.7 billion VND to 20.84 billion VND, reaching more than 100% of the assigned target.

According to comrade Pham Thi Thinh, practice shows that the Publishing House has always steadfastly maintained its principles and political mettle in selecting topics, reviewing, editing and publishing political theory publications under pressure of progress, market demand and technological competition. On average, the Publishing House publishes from 700 to 1,200 books each year, most of which are publications serving political tasks, theoretical research, ideological education, dissemination of legal policies and training of cadres and party members.

However, the context of multi-platform media, multi-dimensional information and the trend of publishing marketization requires publishers to be steadfast in their principles, goals, courage, and sensitivity in editing work, and to always learn from Ho Chi Minh's style: Careful-accurate-devoted in every job, every book. Maintaining that principle means maintaining the political mission and professional ethics of publishers in the current period.
