On August 20, in the capital Asuncion, Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet presented her credentials to Paraguayan President Santiago Peña Palacios.

Congratulating Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet on officially becoming the Vietnamese Ambassador to Paraguay, President Santiago Peña expressed his admiration for Vietnam - a very dynamically developing Southeast Asian country.

According to President Santiago Peña, Paraguay and Vietnam, although geographically far apart, share many similarities in culture, history, and traditions of fighting against foreign invaders for national independence. The two countries also have great potential for cooperation.

In 2024, the Paraguayan Minister of Industry and Trade had a very successful visit to Vietnam, opening up many opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

Wishing to soon pay an official visit to Vietnam, especially when the two countries are celebrating the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations (1995-2025), President Santiago Peña conveyed his regards to Vietnamese leaders and hoped to soon welcome high-ranking Vietnamese leaders to visit Paraguay in the near future.

Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet presented a copy of her Letter of Credence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay.

Previously, on August 19, Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet presented a copy of her Letter of Credence to Paraguayan Foreign Minister Rubén Ramírez Lezcano.
