The highlight was the Mid-Autumn Festival "Lanterns light up dreams" program taking place at Vo Nguyen Giap Square organized by the Central Youth Union, connecting online with connecting points in Lao Cai, Ha Tinh, Gia Lai, Tay Ninh and An Giang .
Along with that, the province organizes many rich activities such as: Mid-Autumn Festival lantern parade contest, beautiful Mid-Autumn Festival tray contest, online Mid-Autumn Festival lantern model contest on the province's Electronic Information Portal Fanpage; along with vibrant cultural and artistic programs, creating a joyful and attractive atmosphere for children and people; tens of thousands of people are expected to participate.
To ensure security and order, the Provincial Police Director has directed the Police of units and localities to develop detailed plans, concentrate maximum forces and means, and coordinate with relevant units to ensure safety of activities.
Police units and localities are required to grasp the situation, promptly prevent, detect and handle early and remotely risks that cause loss of security and order; focus on patrolling and controlling to ensure security and order on the roads; strongly attack and suppress all types of crimes, eliminate social evils; strengthen inspection of temporary residence, temporary absence, and inspection of business lines with conditions on security and order.
Traffic police increased forces and vehicles to patrol and control to ensure traffic order and safety, and to separate traffic flows and routes to avoid congestion and disorder during the Mid-Autumn Festival activities.

To ensure the safety of people enjoying the Mid-Autumn Festival, Thai Nguyen Provincial Police advise people to follow the instructions of the authorities when participating in activities; not to jostle or push in crowded places; take measures to ensure the safety of children; proactively protect property to avoid criminals from taking advantage of it; not to bring items that can cause injury to people around. When detecting illegal acts, quickly report them to the authorities for timely handling.
