At the workshop, delegates focused their discussions on many contents such as: Labor market trends in Vietnam and the Northern region; current labor market situation in Thai Nguyen in the third quarter of 2025 and forecast for 2026; labor recruitment needs of enterprises in industrial parks in Thai Nguyen province in 2025 and 2026; high-quality human resource needs of FDI enterprises.

It is forecasted that by 2026, Thai Nguyen will have about 772,000 employed workers, the rate of trained workers will reach 36%, the unemployment rate will remain at 1.7-1.8%. The total new recruitment demand of enterprises in the third quarter alone was over 7,300 positions, and is expected to reach nearly 10,000 workers in the next 6 months, mainly in Yen Binh, Song Cong, and Diem Thuy industrial parks, focusing on the electricity, electronics, mechanical engineering, and industrial sewing industries. Not only attracting workers in the province, many enterprises also recruit workers from neighboring provinces.

According to experts, in the context of digital transformation and globalization, the occupational structure and labor skills in Thai Nguyen are changing rapidly, placing increasing demands on quality human resources.

The opinions at the workshop will help the province have more basis to build synchronous solutions, perfect the labor market information system, improve training quality, strengthen the connection between businesses - schools - workers...
