Ensuring the quality of teaching and learning in schools in Ky Son ward, Phu Tho

On July 27, Mr. Trinh The Truyen - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province and the working delegation worked with the People's Committee of Ky Son ward on education and training work in the ward after the merger.

Ky Son Ward was established on the basis of merging Ky Son Ward, Doc Lap Commune and Mong Hoa Commune. Currently, the whole ward has 12/12 schools meeting national standards level 1 and 1 school meeting level 2 standards, with 153 classes and 3,912 students. 100% of the management staff meets the standards.

After the merger, the People's Committee of Ky Son ward received the schools in their original state, changed the school names, directed the preparation of conditions for the new school year; reviewed and supplemented the missing personnel; guided the change of school nameplates, organized enrollment, repaired facilities and prepared for the opening ceremony.

Although all levels and sectors have paid attention to investing in facilities and equipment, some schools still lack teachers and equipment is not uniform.

At the meeting, the People's Committee of Ky Son ward proposed that the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province soon complete the coordination mechanism for education management; strengthen training and knowledge development for officials in charge of education; supplement the missing personnel and arrange funding for education.

Mr. Trinh The Truyen - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province and the delegation visited the Muong language class at the Hoa Binh Continuing Education Center.

Representatives of departments of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province answered and guided the process of mobilizing and adding teachers, equipment supply plans and required schools to proactively improve the quality of their staff.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Trinh The Truyen - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province acknowledged the efforts of Ky Son ward after the arrangement.

The Director of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province requested Ky Son ward to focus on improving the quality of the teaching staff, especially at the secondary school level, to ensure the quality of teaching and learning during the implementation of major projects.

Regarding the ward's recommendations, the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province will consider and coordinate to resolve them in the coming time.

On the same day, the delegation of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province visited Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted, Hoa Binh Continuing Education Center and a number of schools in Ky Son ward.
