Following the instructions of the technical staff of the Bac Ninh City Dike Management Department, the locality focused on mobilizing forces to use sandbags to reinforce the surface, creating a channel along the edge of the dike, improving the ability to prevent floods. By nearly 2 a.m. on September 11, the dike system in Dau Han neighborhood was reinforced to an average height of 60cm, meeting the flood prevention requirements set by the professional agency.

On September 12, the people of Dau Han area continued to work hard to reinforce the dike to prevent the floodwaters from rising higher and higher on the Cau River. In a "critical" situation, through people's sharing on social networks, thousands of people from all over the country suddenly flocked to support the people of Dau Han area by scooping sand into sacks to prevent water from overflowing the dike.

Therefore, the whole population was determined to fight the flood until the last minute.
