Notably, at the Shareholders' Meeting, the issue of widespread fake drugs and fake food was a matter of concern for FRT shareholders, who raised questions with the company's leadership, in the context of the authorities having just dismantled many counterfeit goods production lines.
Ms. Nguyen Bach Diep - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Retail and General Director of FPT Long Chau said that the unit welcomes the authorities for bringing to light organizations that make fake drugs and fake functional foods, helping the market to be more transparent and competitive. Long Chau firmly says "no" to counterfeit goods, commits to transparency and compliance with the law.
Regarding business experience, in recent times, many methods have been implemented to strictly control pharmaceuticals entering the pharmacy chain.
For drugs, all legal drugs must have a registration number issued by the Ministry of Health , printed on the drug box, product packaging, and must be valid for circulation when looked up on the Drug Administration's Information Portal. Hand-carried and counterfeit goods are unlikely to fully meet this requirement.
For functional foods, all products must have a product declaration certificate from the Food Safety Department. Currently, Long Chau has posted this certificate on each product in detail on the website and application so that customers can proactively view it.
In addition, although not required, Long Chau has proactively worked with all domestic and imported functional food suppliers to have inspection certificates from the National Institute for Food Safety Control (NIFC) to confirm the correct ingredients and content.
Next step, Long Chau cooperated with NIFC to conduct random sampling testing, going to stores, warehouses, factories, etc. for inspection.
In the event that a product is found to not meet the initial declarations, it will be immediately removed from the shelves.
Expect positive growth from both chains
The congress unanimously approved the revenue plan of VND48,100 billion and pre-tax profit of VND900 billion. Of which, FPT Shop chain revenue is expected to grow by 6% and FPT Long Chau chain revenue is expected to increase by about 28% - continuing to be the main growth driver of FRT.
This plan was built in the context of the Vietnamese economy forecasting a positive recovery at the beginning of the year. However, with fluctuations from the geopolitical situation and global macro factors as well as recent trade tensions, FPT Retail approaches 2025 with a cautious, flexible mindset, striving for effective and sustainable growth.

FRT's key actions in 2025
In 2025, FPT Long Chau aims to open 430 more pharmacies and vaccination centers, continuing to maintain its No. 1 position in the market share of prescription drugs, new-generation drugs and rare drugs. The vaccination system will be fully updated with new vaccines to meet the needs of protecting people's health. With an innovative orientation, Long Chau is committed to actively contributing to the goal of building a modern, transparent and effective healthcare system.
FPT Shop continues to restructure its product portfolio, introducing smart, energy-saving electrical appliances into its retail system, especially targeting young family customers. At the same time, the company promotes the development of FPT virtual mobile network (MVNO) and researches new digital services to improve user experience, aiming for sustainable growth.
