Vu Thi Trang, a candidate taking the exam at Nguyen Thi Giang High School (Vinh Tuong) said: “This morning, I took the exam for 2 elective subjects - it was the last exam so I felt both relieved and a little nervous. This morning, I took the exam for 2 elective subjects: English and History - both of which I chose based on my strengths.
I think this year's History exam is closely following the curriculum, especially the 12th grade knowledge. The English subject is suitable for graduation but has difficult questions with high differentiation, so to get a high score, candidates must have good reading comprehension and analysis skills.
Although I was a little nervous, I tried my best in each exam. After today, I feel like I have passed a big milestone in my student life. I hope that the results will be as expected so that I can apply to my dream university.
I also want to send my sincere thanks to the teachers and the school for always accompanying, supporting and encouraging us throughout the past journey. The exam days were very serious and safe, and I felt the care and support of the teachers and staff at the exam site."
Nguyen Bao Phuc, a candidate taking the exam at Nguyen Viet Xuan High School (Vinh Tuong) said: “In the last exam session, I took two elective subjects, Chemistry and Biology - which are also the two subjects that I focused on studying the most thoroughly during the 12th grade year. I found that this year's exam was quite close to the curriculum, not too challenging but had clear differentiation.
In my opinion, students with a solid grasp of basic knowledge can achieve 6-7 points. My dream is to become a doctor, so I want to achieve the best results in the exam so that I can enroll in the medical field. The road ahead is still long, but I believe that every effort today is a step closer to the future. After submitting the final exam, I really felt relieved and emotional. No matter the result, I think the important thing is that I tried my best."
This afternoon, more than 300 independent candidates registered to take the 2006 General Education program exam in a foreign language with a 60-minute test duration.
