NDO - The music night “Bond Live In Vietnam” taking place at 8pm on October 5 at the National Convention Center, My Dinh, Hanoi promises to bring the audience special things not only in music but also in the image of Bond and the meaning of this tour.
The music night “Bond Live in Vietnam” is the second concert in the “Good Morning Vietnam” music program series initiated and implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group. Not only is it a bridge to bring world- class music to domestic audiences, the organizers of “Good Morning Vietnam” also want to promote the image of Vietnam to the world through the MVs of international artists participating in the program. This is the third time Bond has performed in Vietnam and is also the largest music night with the largest audience (about 5,000 people). Unlike the commercial shows that Bond has performed over the past two decades, “Bond Live in Vietnam” is the group’s first program aimed at charity when the organizers dedicate all revenue to support victims of storm No. 3 in the northern provinces. The organizers said that Bond’s performance in Hanoi was carried out in a common format and met international standards in terms of stage and sound. Bond will perform some of its most successful and familiar pieces to Vietnamese audiences, including the legendary "Victory". Notably, the four members of Bond will wear Ao Dai for the first time during their performance. This is also unprecedented in the group's history of touring abroad.
Eos Counsell said: "We are honored to be asked to wear traditional Vietnamese costumes because they are very elegant and beautiful. We hope to be able to perform in them, but we need to be comfortable in our arms and shoulders to play the music." Tania Davis said: "Vietnamese women look very stylish in their costumes, so we really want to wear Ao Dai when we perform." Bond is a string quartet from England with members Tania Davis (violin), Eos Counsell (violin), Elspeth Hanson (viola) and Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello). The group is world-famous for combining classical music with Pop and many styles on electronic instruments. To date, Bond has sold 5 million albums, maintaining the title of the world's most successful string quartet after more than 2 decades of debut. Along with impressive music, Bond has made a strong impression on global audiences thanks to its fiery performance style and impressive costumes. “Bond Live in Vietnam”, taking place at 8pm on October 5, 2024 at the My Dinh National Convention Center, promises to be a night of music with many emotions on the stage of the capital Hanoi.
