Den Vau supports more than 1 billion VND for highland students and disadvantaged students

Late on November 16, rapper Den Vau announced that the revenue of the song Cooking for You was more than 1 billion VND and all of it was transferred to 2 schools in Lai Chau, Cao Bang and the Student Support Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

Specifically, from May 13 to September 30, the revenue from the song " Nau an c cho e m " converted into Vietnamese currency was 727,821,000 VND. The actual revenue received from Audio on platforms such as Nhaccuatui, Spotify, Apple music, YouTube Music, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok... was nearly 239,293,044 VND. The total revenue was more than 1 billion VND. The amount transferred to schools in the previous period was more than 418 million VND.

Because the two schools in Lai Chau and Cao Bang only lacked a few items, the male rapper's team transferred 350 million VND to complete them. The remaining 200 million VND, he decided to transfer to the Spring Bus Trip - Happy Tet 2024 program of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center, to support buses to take 2,000 students in difficult circumstances home for Tet.

“All these numbers are clear in the accounting reports of many publishing units in Vietnam, there is nothing ambiguous. So, up to now, with the cooperation of the audience, Cooking for You has raised more than 1 billion VND, sharing everyone's love to places that need help. I myself also understand the power of solidarity, collective strength”, Den Vau shared.

In response to the audience's compliments, he added: "There are many good people out there, silently. If you read the mainstream newspapers every day, there are countless people who support and contribute to society. Let's try to learn from them. Don't praise anymore, it's not a big deal, it's everyone's work, I just transferred the money for them."

MV Cooking for Children was released on May 13, telling a humane story about the journey of Den Vau and young singer PiaLinh (Huong Linh) to visit children at Sa Tong Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Muong Cha, Dien Bien).

The MV won the hearts of the audience with its simple, sincere storytelling and its focus on depicting the journey of children in the highlands to find literacy. Through that, the humane message of sharing and love between people is highlighted.

Den Vau said that all revenue from listening and viewing of this song will be used for the project of building schools and raising children. In particular, tens of thousands of children in the highlands have been adopted under the "Nuoi Em" project (by Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung) right after the MV was released. The male rapper said that in the future, he will try to produce meaningful songs to spread his charity projects.
