Ho Chi Minh City University of Education's benchmark score may increase by up to 2 points

Dr. Huynh Trung Phong - Director of the Center for Student Support and Startup Development, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education - said that at the end of the registration period, the school received 31,252 candidates for admission, an increase of 100% compared to 2023, which was 15,596 candidates.

The number of registered admission wishes is 51,625, an increase of 120% compared to last year's 23,345 wishes. 46/107 candidates who passed the direct admission have enrolled.

The above statistics include candidates and early admission applicants who have successfully registered on the Ministry of Education and Training 's General Admission Support system.

The remaining quota for admission using high school graduation exam results for each major ranges from 10 - 60%.

With the above number of admission applications, Dr. Huynh Trung Phong predicts that the admission score based on the high school graduation exam score will remain the same or increase from 0.5 to 2 points compared to last year.

"Especially the pedagogy group may increase the most, many majors may reach 28 - 29 points," Mr. Phong predicted.

Previously, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education announced the admission benchmark scores using high school academic results in 2024 ranging from 21.43 - 29.81 points, the highest being for Chemistry Pedagogy.

Regarding the admission method using high school academic results combined with specialized competency assessment exams, Chemistry Pedagogy still leads with 28.25 points. The remaining majors have scores of 20.54 points or higher.
