The biggest highlight was the victory of the men's 4x100m team, with Noah Lyles exploding in the final run, bringing the 16th gold medal for the US team with a time of 37.29 seconds - the 5th fastest in history and also the fastest in the world since 2019.
In the women's 4x400m, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone shone brightly with a lightning-fast final run, helping the US set a tournament record of 3 minutes 16 seconds 61, the 5th fastest time of all time.

Not only relay events, the US also witnessed breakthroughs from many individuals. Melissa Jefferson-Wooden became a star when she won the 100m and 200m double and the women's 4x100 relay gold medal, in which the new tournament record in the 100m distance (10.61 seconds) was shocking.

Cole Hocker also made history when he won the men's 5000m with a time of 12 minutes 58 seconds 30 - the first time in 18 years that the US won gold in this distance.
At the end of the tournament, the US team won a total of 26 medals (16 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze), far surpassing its opponents and dominating the overall standings. With a series of records set, Tokyo 2025 will certainly go down in history as a tournament that demonstrated the comprehensive strength and depth of American athletics.
