In the final of the men's 200m event that took place on the night of September 19, Noah Lyles finished first with a time of 19.52 seconds. This is his fourth consecutive gold medal in this distance at the world championships.
This impressive achievement helped him equal the "super record" of legend Usain Bolt, who also dominated the 200m event four times in a row from 2009 to 2015.
Immediately after finishing, Lyles sent the stands at Japan's national stadium into a frenzy when he performed the classic "Kamehameha" move from the "Dragon Ball" manga series.
This is considered his tribute to Japanese culture, where he has had a special love for anime and manga since he was a child. This celebration quickly became a fever throughout the land of the rising sun.
The final race was a dramatic one. Lyles beat compatriot Kenny Bednarek (second in 19.58 seconds) and Jamaican Bryan Levell (third in 19.64 seconds) to win.

It was a sweet return for Lyles in Tokyo, four years ago in Tokyo where he suffered a mental breakdown and only managed to win an Olympic bronze medal in disappointment.
"I don't have good memories of 2021, I was depressed. Now I'm happy and full of energy," Lyles shared after the win.
Behind the glory is a story of perseverance. Lyles suffered from chronic asthma and spent his childhood in the hospital.
“When I was a kid, I thought I would never play sports . But now I am the third fastest man in history in the 200m and have many world gold medals,” he said.
With a strong personality and top form, Noah Lyles is proving himself to be a worthy successor to Usain Bolt and bringing a new and attractive color to the world of athletics.
He also did not hesitate to set a record-breaking goal: "I look forward to 2027 to become the first man in history to win five 200m world championships."
