The Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police announced a plan to adjust traffic on Le Loi Street to serve the organization of the Vietnam - US Friendship Exchange program taking place in the city center.
Accordingly, the car lane on Le Loi Street (from Nguyen Hue to Pasteur, Saigon Ward) will be used as an event venue from 0:00 on September 4 to 23:00 on September 8.
During this time, people can choose to travel on the mixed lane of Le Loi Street or follow parallel and adjacent routes such as Ham Nghi, Le Thanh Ton to limit congestion, especially during rush hours. Routes intersecting with Le Loi Street such as Pasteur, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Dong Khoi, Phan Boi Chau... still operate normally.
Traffic police remind drivers when passing through the event area to reduce speed, comply with instructions from authorities and traffic signals.
