The Working Group of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics worked with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department on the implementation results of Directive No. 20-CT/TW

On April 25, the Working Group of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics led by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Danh Tien, Director of the Institute of Party History (IH) had a working session with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to inspect the research and compilation of LSĐ in the spirit of Directive No. 20-CT/TW dated January 18, 2018 of the Central Party Secretariat on continuing to strengthen and improve the quality of research, compilation, propaganda and education of LSĐ. Comrade Tran Minh Nam, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department received and worked with the Group.

After 6 years of implementing Directive 20-CT/TW of the Secretariat, the research, compilation, propaganda and education of the Party Central Committee have achieved many important results. The quality of the Party Central Committee and traditional history works has been increasingly improved, ensuring Party character and scientific nature; at the same time reflecting the traditions and specific characteristics of each locality and unit. The propaganda and education of the Party Central Committee has been organized in many rich and diverse forms, initially promoting the value of the Party Central Committee publications after publication. The research and compilation of the Party Central Committee have made an important contribution to educating the tradition to cadres, party members and people, especially the young generation. From 2018 to 2023, the whole province has 37 published Party Central Committee works and 17 works in progress.

On behalf of the working delegation, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Danh Tien highly appreciated the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee in researching and compiling LSĐ in the spirit of Directive No. 20-CT/TW. He requested the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to continue improving the quality of research and compilation of LSĐ, traditional history of localities, departments and branches; from issuing plans, collecting documents, building outlines, compiling manuscripts, organizing workshops to collect opinions, and reviewing manuscripts before publication. Ensure funding to carry out the tasks of researching, compiling, propagating, educating LSĐ, collecting, archiving images, documentary films and restoring historical documents. Promote the digitization of historical publications to facilitate readers' exploitation and research.

Speaking at the working session, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department acknowledged the contributions of the working delegation. In the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department will continue to innovate the content and form of propaganda and education associated with the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, promptly and effectively fighting against wrong viewpoints and reactionary arguments of hostile forces. Pay attention to the work of inspection, supervision and promptly reward and encourage collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements. At the same time, recommend that the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics periodically organize in-person or online conferences to foster and train professional skills, update new information related to LSĐ.
