Provincial Party Committee's Supervisory Delegation 2034: Working with the Department of Industry and Trade Party Cell

On March 27, the Provincial Party Committee's Supervisory Delegation 2034, headed by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a working session with the Department of Industry and Trade Party Cell on the results of leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 12/NQ-TU dated December 30, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee, term XIV, on the climate change adaptation program for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Minh Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Chama léa Thi Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.

Implementing Resolution No. 12-NQ/TU, the Party Cell of the Department of Industry and Trade has organized to disseminate the Provincial Party Committee's resolution to all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the unit and focused on implementing it to achieve certain results. The Department proactively coordinated with relevant functional branches and localities to promote the restructuring of energy-consuming industries and areas associated with implementing policies on clean and economical energy use; the planning of industrial clusters in the province in conjunction with urban planning is assessed based on the impact of climate change, avoiding the risk of flooding, landslides. Restricting investment licenses for projects with high risk of pollution, using a lot of fossil energy; strengthening inspection and guidance for enterprises to treat waste, and overcome environmental pollution during the production process.

Comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

After listening to the assessment of the results achieved, some causes of difficulties and limitations in implementing Resolution No. 12-NQ/TU and comments from members of the monitoring delegation, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged the proactive spirit of the Department of Industry and Trade Party Cell in implementing the resolution, which has initially achieved results. In the coming time, he requested the Department of Industry and Trade to focus on reviewing and identifying existing problems and promptly resolving them; further strengthening leadership, direction and concretizing them with practical actions and action programs in performing tasks. Proactively coordinate with sectors and localities to promote propaganda activities on the importance of climate change to cadres, party members, workers and people; effectively implement specialized planning, programs and projects using bioenergy; encourage and support enterprises in the province to build projects according to the green, clean and environmentally friendly development mechanism.
