In his closing speech at the workshop, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc emphasized: Through the comments at the workshop, it can be seen that the merger of the province is not simply a matter of combining area or population, but rather opening up a completely new strategic space. The multi-center, multi-layered development model, with growth nuclei in the former Bien Hoa - Long Thanh - Nhon Trach and Dong Xoai - Chon Thanh clusters, will be the key to maximizing the advantages of the new province. In addition, establishing strategic development corridors, from economic - logistics corridors connecting from border gates to seaports, to industrial - urban corridors along the highways will create a sustainable and flexible structure. The comments at the workshop are a comprehensive and in-depth preliminary sketch for the new Dong Nai Provincial Planning.

“Planning cannot be on paper but must go hand in hand with effective implementation and monitoring mechanisms and policies. The common interests of the people and Dong Nai province must be put first. All levels and sectors must agree that adjusting the province's master plan is a golden time in the post-merger period to lay the foundation for the development of Dong Nai province. We must resolutely eliminate the term mindset and the situation of "suspended planning", the "ask - give" mechanism, "group interests" in building, adjusting and supplementing planning. Ensure the synchronization and unity of planning levels" - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc emphasized.
