National Defense Economic Group 915 gives breeding cows to people in border areas

On the morning of September 16, National Defense Economic Group 915 (Military Region 9) organized a ceremony to give breeding cows to poor, near-poor, and newly escaped-poverty households in Giang Thanh and Vinh Dieu communes.

In Giang Thanh commune, 25 households in the hamlets: Tan Tien, Tan Khanh, Tien Khanh, Tan Thanh, Kinh Moi, Rach Dua, Tra Phot, Tran The received cows. In Vinh Dieu commune, 26 households in the hamlets: Moi, Met Lung, Nha Sap, Tram Troi, Vinh Loi, T4, T5, Dong Co, Dong Cu received cows.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quang Thanh, Deputy Head of the 915 National Defense Economic Group, said that the total number of breeding cows given to households was 102, with a total cost of over 1.8 billion VND. This is an activity under Sub-project 3/Project 3: "Socio-economic development - a model of soldiers associated with local people, ethnic minority and mountainous areas by 2025".

The activity has practical significance, demonstrating the concern of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 9 for people in ethnic minority areas with difficult circumstances, helping them develop the economy, stabilize their lives, overcome hunger and reduce poverty, contributing to socio-economic development...
