Born and raised in a rural area with many difficulties, with a large Khmer population and a high poverty rate, Mr. Chau Soc Sa has held many positions in the local Party Committee, government, and organizations. Understanding the lives of the people, after retirement, with his heart, affection, and social relationships, he actively participated in local charity and social activities.

Mr. Chau Soc Sa is very passionate about the work of promoting education. With his prestige in the community and sense of responsibility, at the beginning of each new school year or at the end of the school year, he and the Executive Committee of the Commune's Association for Promoting Education go to each enterprise, organization, and individual to mobilize funds for the work of promoting education and talents. On average, each year, he personally contributes and mobilizes more than 600 gifts for students and Khmer people in difficult circumstances.
During the summer, Mr. Chau Soc Sa mobilizes the Southern Buddhist pagoda to organize Khmer language classes and encourages students to participate. This is an annual activity with practical significance in preserving and maintaining the language and culture of ethnic minorities. In the lectures, the monks incorporate lessons on ethics; teach proper and polite behavior; promote good things and right reasons... thereby orienting the students to become useful people for the community and society.
On every occasion of the Lunar New Year, Chol Chnam Thmay, Sene Dolta, he actively coordinates well with the local government to mobilize the spring tree fund; supports the distribution of gifts to poor and near-poor households. In addition, he also regularly supports the Fatherland Front and local government to propagate and mobilize people in the village and hamlet to implement the Party's policies and the State's laws. In daily life, he often advises and mobilizes people to work hard and develop the family economy .
In particular, Mr. Chau Soc Sa regularly participates in meetings between Party and government leaders and the people; between People's Council delegates and voters. On that basis, he conveys the thoughts, aspirations, and feedback of ethnic minorities to local Party committees and authorities for solutions.
