Since then, 11/14 targets of the 2024 work theme resolution have been achieved and exceeded, notably: The rate of Party membership admission reached over 100%; the socio -economic development was stable, maintaining year-round growth at 7.6%; the total value of industries and fields of trade, tourism, industry and construction increased from 5.3% to 18.6%; the number of tourists reached 1.1 million, an increase of 200,000 compared to the scenario; tourism revenue was estimated at 665 billion VND, an increase of 90 billion VND compared to the scenario; Completed the elimination of 68 near-poor households, created additional jobs for 3,000 workers, achieving 100% of the target assigned by the province.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, commended and acknowledged the efforts of Cam Pha City in all aspects of work in the context of many difficulties in 2024, especially the damage caused by storm No. 3 ( Yagi ).

In view of the province's goals set for 2025, he highly appreciated Cam Pha City for choosing a very suitable working theme for the year, which is "Focusing on removing difficulties, unlocking resources; making a breakthrough in economic development, creating momentum for the new term". To achieve this goal, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested Cam Pha City to continue promoting the tradition of "Discipline and unity", building a truly united collective; continue to promote the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations in Party and state agencies and public service units.

He requested the city to continue to focus on carefully preparing and successfully organizing Party Congresses at all levels, including carefully preparing congress documents, especially political reports to be submitted to the congress. Study and responsibly participate in the documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the 16th National Party Congress of the Provincial Party Committee. Prepare well the personnel work to participate in the Party Committee, ensuring quality, quantity and reasonable structure, especially personnel after the organization and apparatus are rearranged. To contribute to achieving the province's economic growth target of 12% in 2025, he requested Cam Pha City and Ha Long City to be the locomotive to accelerate and make a breakthrough in economic development, striving to complete the highest budget revenue estimate assigned; continue to implement Resolution No. 15-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on seaport and seaport service development more effectively and clearly in conjunction with the Master Plan for developing sea and island tourism products of Ha Long Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay - Van Don - Co To, creating a clear change in tourism, service and seaport development; promote investment attraction for tourism and service projects in the area, especially attracting investment in Con Ong - Hon Net port.
