Attending the meeting were Comrade Dao My, Provincial Party Committee member - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu An, Provincial Party Committee member - Director of Dak Lak Provincial Department of Industry and Trade; representatives of the Departments of Finance, Natural Resources and Environment, Construction, Health , Provincial Industrial Park Management Board; Board of Directors of the Department of Industry and Trade; leaders of the Departments, Market Management Department, Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion. The Department of Industry and Trade reported the situation after the merger and reorganization, the organizational structure includes 4 departments (Office, Trade Management Department, Industrial Management Department, Energy Management Department); 1 unit under the Department (Market Management Department) and 1 public service unit under the Department (Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion Center). The Department currently has 200 civil servants, public employees and workers. To organize activities immediately after the reorganization, the Department of Industry and Trade has implemented: (1) Arranged and organized working headquarters, provided equipment for civil servants and public employees; (2) Assigned tasks to the Department's leadership; (3) Assigned work to civil servants, public employees and employees of the Department; (4) Organized the announcement of the decisions of the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade on appointing heads and deputy heads of specialized departments, affiliated and affiliated units. Received 24 civil servants of the Phu Yen Department of Industry and Trade (formerly) to work at the Dak Lak headquarters (new). In general, the ideological situation, residence and workplace have basically stabilized and work is secure.

According to the report, in the first 6 months of 2025, the situation of production, industrial development, and main industrial products. The industrial production index is estimated to increase by 10.02% over the same period in 2024. After the merger, the main industrial products of Dak Lak province increased by 04 products, currently the whole province has 34 main industrial products, of which the output of some products has a large proportion in the first 6 months of the year, as follows: For the processing and manufacturing industry: Cassava starch: reached 142,030 tons, reaching 58% of the yearly plan; Crystallized sugar of all kinds: estimated at 234,000 tons, reaching 88.3% of the plan; Processing cashew nuts for export: estimated at 11,329 tons; Processing aquatic and seafood products: estimated at 11,190 tons, reaching 47.6% of the yearly plan; Production of all kinds of beer: estimated at 61.379 million liters, reaching 44.63% of the yearly plan; Processing of ground coffee and instant coffee: estimated at 21,470 tons, reaching 42% of the yearly plan; Rubber and rubber products: Estimated output at 7,200 tons, reaching 45% of the yearly plan; Steel products: Estimated output at 167,670 tons, reaching 43% of the yearly plan; Garment products: estimated at 10.4 million products, reaching 48.2% of the yearly plan; Pharmaceutical production: estimated at 1,280 million pills, reaching 46.5% of the plan; Electronic components production: estimated at 523 million products, reaching 48.9% of the plan; Construction stones of all kinds: estimated at 1,936,769m3, reaching 50.56% of the yearly plan; For the field of production and distribution of electricity and commercial water: Commercial electricity output: estimated commercial electricity output reached 1,931 million kWh, reaching 49.6% of the yearly plan; (2) Estimated electricity production output reached 4,323 million kWh, reaching 42.38% of the yearly plan; (3) Commercial water: estimated output reached 43,450 thousand m3, reaching 48.8% of the yearly plan. Dak Lak province currently has 6 industrial parks (IPs) in operation, including: Hoa Phu IP, An Phu IP, Dong Bac Song Cau IP - Zone 1, Dong Bac Song Cau IP - Zone 2 and 2 IPs located in Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone. In addition, the province has 22 industrial clusters (IPs) with a land area of 1,011.5 hectares, attracting 202 operating projects, registered for investment with a total investment capital of about 8,771.7 billion VND, with an occupancy rate of about 60.6%. Since the beginning of the year, total retail sales of goods and service revenue are estimated at nearly VND 92,742 billion (up 16% over the same period last year, reaching 50.8% of the yearly plan), export turnover is more than 1.5 billion USD (reaching 68% of the plan, up 28.7% over the same period in 2024). The target by the end of 2025 of the industry and trade sector is that the industrial production index will increase by 10%; total retail sales of goods and service revenue will increase by 9.4%; total export value will be more than 2.2 billion USD, an increase of 0.6% compared to 2024.

At the meeting, the Department of Industry and Trade reported on the current situation of industrial production, trade, some activities of energy projects, renewable energy, biomass electricity after the merger... Along with that, it proposed and recommended to the Provincial People's Committee to direct the sectors to coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to remove difficulties for industrial production activities, develop industrial parks; build technical infrastructure for industrial parks; management and development of energy industry and support to promote domestic trade, import and export, call for investment... Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My suggested that in the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade should soon stabilize the organizational structure, complete related administrative procedures so that all activities can operate smoothly; arrange and review the activities of the industry, in which it is necessary to synthesize and integrate information and data fully from both the East and the West to see a comprehensive picture of the industry and trade sector. From there, identify advantageous industries, key products, with unique features to develop in order to increase the value of industrial products, create jobs for workers, and increase budget revenue.
Representative of the Department of Finance spoke to answer questions about the difficulties and problems of the industry and trade sector.
In addition, the industry and trade sector needs to assess the current status of industrial parks and industrial clusters, unify policies, organize development space, and complete infrastructure serving industrial production; review and compile a list of energy projects and power supply projects and point out the problems and difficulties of each project to find solutions and put the projects into operation soon.
