All reduced, which bank has high interest rate?

From July 3, Tien Phong Bank ( TPBank ) reduced the interest rate for deposits with terms of 6-18 months by 0.3 percentage points. Accordingly, the interest rate for terms of 6-18 months is only 6.7%/year.

This new interest rate brings the 6-18 month terms to the same level as TPBank’s 24-36 month terms. Previously, this bank had announced three times to lower its deposit interest rates in June.

An Binh Bank ( ABBank ) has also just announced a reduction in deposit interest rates for all terms, with a reduction of 0.2 percentage points for terms of 6-12 months and a reduction of 0.4 percentage points for terms of 13 months or more.

Online deposit interest rates for 6-7 month terms have dropped to 7.5% per year. 8-9 month terms are now 7.55% per year; 10-12 month terms are now 7.6% per year. Deposit terms of 13 months or more are now only 7.4% per year.

Saigon Bank for Industry and Trade ( Saigonbank ) also reduced its deposit interest rates from today. The reduction is 0.2 percentage points for deposits with terms of 6 months or more.

Currently, online deposits for 6-8 months at Saigonbank are 6.8%/year. 9-11 months are 6.9%/year; 12, 18, 24 and 36 months are 7.2%/year. 13 months currently has the highest interest rate of 7.8%/year.

Nam A Bank announced a 0.3 percentage point reduction in deposit interest rates for terms from 6 months to 11 months. 6-month term is now 7.3%/year; 7-8 month term is now 7.6% and 7.5%/year respectively; 9-11 month term is now only 7.4%/year.

Meanwhile, NamA Bank has kept the interest rate for deposits with terms of 12 months or more at the same level. Specifically, the 12-14 month term is 7.7%/year; the 15-36 month term is 7.5%/year.

The sharpest decrease belongs to Saigon - Hanoi Bank ( SHB ) when interest rates for terms of 12 months or more simultaneously decreased by 0.5 percentage points, to 7.2%/year from today.

For the remaining terms, SHB reduced 0.2 percentage points for 6-month deposits to 7%/year, and reduced 0.1 percentage points to 7.1%/year for 7-11 month deposits.

Vietnam Export Import Bank ( Eximbank ) also reduced deposit interest rates for some terms from today. The change took place with 6-month and 12-month deposits with a decrease of 0.2 percentage points.

Interest rate for 6-month deposits at Eximbank is still 7.3%/year; 12-month term is still 7.4%/year.

The remaining terms still maintain the old interest rates. Specifically, the interest rate for the 9-month term is 7.5%/year, and for the 15-36-month term is 7.6%/year.
