On the evening of April 16, a representative of Binh Thuan Ward Police (Hai Chau District, Da Nang City) said that the unit had taken a male American tourist to Da Nang Central Bus Station and given him a bus ticket so that he could continue his personal journey.
Previously, on the afternoon of the same day (April 16), Mr. ISH (22 years old, tourist from the US) went to Binh Thuan Ward Police Station to ask for help.
Through an exchange with the ward police, Mr. ISH said he came to Vietnam alone on January 30 to explore many provinces and cities in Vietnam such as: Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Tinh and Da Nang City.
When he returned to Da Nang City for the second time, ISH was in a situation where he could not afford his living expenses and could not manage to return home. ISH's wish was for the police force to help him move back to Ho Chi Minh City.

After listening to Mr. ISH's wish to be helped, the Binh Thuan Ward Police reassured the male tourist and provided some information that Mr. ISH was wondering about.
In particular, to fulfill the American tourist's wish, Binh Thuan Ward Police booked a ticket from Phuong Trang bus (a sleeper bus from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City) to give to ISH, where he could connect and seek help from the Embassy to return home.
When the ward police took him to the bus station and asked the bus company and driver to support him throughout the journey, Mr. ISH was very touched. He wrote a letter to thank the ward police for their enthusiastic and thoughtful support.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Son, Chief of Binh Thuan Ward Police, shared that recently, the unit has received and assisted many domestic and foreign tourists in finding lost or forgotten property while traveling in the city.
"The Ward Police Commander always urges officers and soldiers to uphold the spirit of supporting and helping people and tourists, especially foreign tourists, when coming to Da Nang City. The enthusiasm and responsibility of each officer and soldier will contribute to building the image of a safe, hospitable and humane city," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Son.
