Yoly - a tourist from Spain - was excited to depart with her friends from Hanoi to Dong Hoi (Quang Tri) by experiencing the railway. She knew that Vietnam's railway is one of the 6 most beautiful railway lines in the world , so she was very much looking forward to it.

During the 9-day trip in Vietnam, the group visited Hanoi, Sa Pa ( Lao Cai ), Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) and the next stop was Dong Hoi.

With a night on the train, Yoly hopes to have many interesting experiences with friends on the trip.

As for Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tra (Hanoi), this is the first time she has come to Dong Hoi by train, so she is very excited and looking forward to a fun and safe trip.

"When I got on the spaceship, it was very clean and modern, with a TV in each bed, harmonious lighting, and melodious music," Ms. Tra shared.

The high-quality train Hanoi - Dong Hoi is operated by Jinxin Railway Transport and Tourism Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), continuing the success of the Saigon - Nha Trang route.

The passenger train consists of 13 high-quality carriages applying advanced technology, manufactured and built in Vietnam for the first time.

The train runs on the Hanoi - Dong Hoi railway and vice versa every 2 days.

Hanoi - Dong Hoi departs at 8:15 pm from Hanoi station and arrives at Dong Hoi station at 6:10 am the next morning.

Dong Hoi - Hanoi departs at 3:20 p.m. at Dong Hoi station, and arrives at Hanoi station at 4:15 a.m. the next morning.

Sharing with the press, Mr. Mai The Manh - Deputy General Director of Railway Transport Joint Stock Company - said that the number of passengers traveling by train in recent years, especially in the first months of this year, has increased more than before. In the coming time, the railway industry will continue to upgrade about 160 carriages to better serve people and tourists.

The train route Hanoi - Dong Hoi is equipped with advanced technology, serving the maximum needs of passengers.

In addition to the wifi system and air conditioning, each bed is equipped with a TV.

The ship is also equipped with an odorless, vacuum-cleaning system, similar to that of an airplane.

The seats can rotate 360 degrees; there is an electronically controlled braking system that prevents wheel locking in emergency situations requiring deceleration; and there is an axle temperature gauge to increase safety when operating the train.

The train has 6 soft sleeper cars and 5 soft seat cars, each soft sleeper car has 28 beds. The average ticket price is 620,000 VND/seat ticket, and 1,135,000 VND/bed ticket for the journey from Hanoi to Dong Hoi.

The Hanoi - Dong Hoi railway route is approximately 500km long. This luxury train will only stop at a few major stations along the route. Travel time is approximately 10 hours.
